Self Catering on The Caledonian Canal
Ros Crana is a 44 metre, comfortable barge, located at the top of Neptune's staircase on the Caledonian Canal near Fort William. This is our home berth and we are pleased to offer the opportunity for guests to stay aboard during the periods when we are not cruising. With wonderful views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding hills this is an ideal base for discovering the area and if you wish, some gentle activity challenges - biking, walking, canoeing etc. In other words having some fun and enjoying the space to breathe. This is an ideal location for up to 12 guests to be based while staying in the Highlands. Accommodation is in 6 en-suite twin cabins with powerful hot showers. The lounge and dining area mean there is plenty of room to sit and relax during your stay. The kitchen has every cooking utensil required including a fridge freezer, large gas cooker and oven and a dish washer too! There is also an efficient drying room on board. All bed linen, towels and heating are included in the cost. We are also happy to participate and been accepted into the Visit Scotland "Good to Go"  and the Airbnb "Enhanced Clean" protocol campaigns. Prices for  1 - 6 guests: £240 per night (minimum stay 2 nights) Price for 7 or more up to a maximum of 12, there is an additional charge of £25.00pp/pn. Gairlochy Holiday Lodges
Gairlochy Holiday Lodges are situated near Spean Bridge at the south end of the Great Glen, on the B8004 between the Commando Memorial on the A82 and the Caledonian Canal. The canal is ten minutes walk and this is where you can join the Great Glen Mountain Bike Trail or the Great Glen Way. We are about 20 minutes from Fort William. Our pine lined chalets are well equipped with washing machine, fridge, full cooker, micro-wave, TV and shower. Each has two bedrooms upstairs, a double, and a twin, with linen provided. All are centrally heated with a focal point fire in the lounge area. Prices quoted are inclusive of all heating and hot water costs. Parking is available beside each chalet. Our caravan holiday homes are two bedroomed and have toilet/shower facilities, full cooker, microwave, gas fire, fridge and TV. All caravans are replaced on a regular basis with a maximum letting period of four seasons. Parking is provided beside the caravans and they have unhindered views of Ben Nevis and the Nevis Range ski development. Other park facilities include play area, payphone and launderette. Gas and Electricity are included in our prices. Discounts for couples. If you are also interested in a holiday caravan we have thirty pitches for touring caravans and campers, this area has a modern toilet block with showers, hot water, elsan disposal and a separate dish wash point. Huntingtower Lodge
Huntingtower Lodge is closed for 2020 but we are taking bookings for 2021.  We have carried out a full COVID-19 Risk Assessment and have the Visit Scotland COVID-19 "Good to Go" accreditation. The Lodge, a Visit Scotland 4 Star Gold B&B enjoys a stunning position on 6 acres of hillside, overlooking Loch Linnhe, Huntingtower Lodge is the perfect place to chill out or to use as a base to tour the West Highlands, to climb Ben Nevis, take a walk along our woodland path or take The Jacobite to Mallaig. Our 4 double rooms have en-suite showers, king-size beds and all the usual comforts you would expect from quality accommodation. We also have a twin room with private shower room. Our suite of rooms, The Waterfall Suite, is perfect for travellers looking for privacy or a special get-away. Each room has Wi-Fi and Freeview television/DVD. The house is no smoking throughout. Complimentary transfers to and from the local bus and train station are available by arrangement as is transport into town in the evening - we do however ask for a voluntary donation to our chosen charity, http://www.kirstyskids.org/.
