SeaXplore - Wildlife boat trips in a RIB

XPLORE THE COAST AND WILDLIFE OF THE HIGHLANDS - with a bare boat yacht charter, skippered yacht charter, wildlife RIB trips, sea kayak hire and instruction. SeaXplore offers waterbased activities and experiences in the West Highlands from Ballachulish in the heart of the Outdoor capital of the UK.

Based at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel in Ballachulish and with another yacht base at Craobh Marina south of Oban we are ideally located to accessing the beauty and seascapes of the West Coast of Scotland. We can in fact offer them anywhere on the West Coast of Scotland!

What do we offer?
Yacht charter, skippered or bareboat from Ballachulish Marina at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel and from Craobh Marina. Short breaks, a week or more. A variety of boats are in the fleet and for more details please ask.

Wildlife RIB Treks.
We have a 12 seater fast RIB that is ideal for exploring the wildlife and history in Lochaber. Take a journey from Loch Leven past the Islands and under the Ballachulish bridge to seek out remote bays and marvel at the spectacular scenery as well as finding wildlife such as seals, whales, otters, eagles as well as castles and finding out about the history of Lochaber and Lorn. From the Vikings to the Clans and the Clearances you will cover a lot in your 1 or 2 hour trip. The RIB is also available for charter and we can take you and your family and friends to a restaurant and pick you up again.

We can also take you mountain biking to Mull, Ardgour or even a trip around Lismore for the day. If you have an idea get in touch and we will be happy to make it work for you if at all possible. Visit http://www.seaxplorer.co.uk or email [email protected]

Sea Kayaking
A fleet of 7 sea kayaks are available along with all the required equipment except shoes and a swimming costume! You can hire a kayak if you have suitable experience or qualification or you can have tuition from a qualified BCU Instructor and leader. Fit in with one of our sessions or organise your own. We can organise expeditions to camping or staying in coastal bothies as well as offering quality coaching and qualifications if that is what your goal is.

We can offer BCU awards from 1-3 star, 4 star leader in Sea Kayaking, Inland Kayaking and Open Boating. BCU UKCC Level 1 and 2 coach awards can be run by arrangement. Sessions are run by the half day or full day and everything is based and starts from The Isles of Glencoe Hotel, Ballachulish. We can take you further if you wish by road with our trailer or if you are feeling really adventurous we can take up to four people and four sea kayaks in our RIB to where ever you like! (within reason of course!) Visit http://www.seaxplorer.co.uk and http://www.seakayakinginscotland.com or email [email protected] .
