Achintee Farm Guest House is beside the river in Glen Nevis, at the start of the Ben Nevis footpath. We offer a peaceful, relaxing stay with plenty of walking right from the front door and mountain views all around. The West Highland Way passes close by.
Our 19th century farmhouse has a friendly atmosphere with modern comfort and traditional charm. We have lived in Glen Nevis for many years so you can rely on our local knowledge for advice and guidance. We are open from 29th April until 2nd October. There are two en-suite guest bedrooms. One double and one double/twin room.
Guests are welcome to use the lounge which has lots of books and maps. There is a television in each bedroom and free wifi throughout the house. We have a large garden which leads down to the river Nevis.
Up the drive (50 metres) the old stone barn has been converted into a licensed restaurant, the Ben Nevis Inn, serving freshly prepared bar meals using local produce.
(booking is recommended as the inn is popular with locals). Only a mile and a half from Fort William, Achintee is centrally located for day trips to for example: Loch Ness, the Isle of Skye, or the white sandy beaches at Morar. Take the Steam Train to Mallaig, a boat trip to Seal Island, or a mountain cable car ride at Aonach Mor.
