We are pleased to present several Fort William hotels to you on this website. The town has 12 great hotels from which to choose, with several of these located by the shore of Loch Linnhe. Nowadays, hotels can offer full hotel service or just a really good Fort William B&B experience.

As you arrive in Fort William from the south, The Clan MacDuff family hotel and restaurant is on your right with a great lochside setting and is one of larger hotels in Fort William.  The West End Hotel is also a family run business with a large dining room and lounge bar and good views over Loch Linnhe and a short walk into the High Street. Nearby the Limetree Hotel and Restaurant is a boutique-style hotel with excellent dining.

The Alexandra Hotel by the Parade in the town centre is a good choice with two restaurants, as is The Ben Nevis Hotel with its leisure centre complete with swimming pool, spa bath and gymnasium.

The Nevis Bank Hotel, at the entrance to Glen Nevis in Fort William, is a great choice.  Many of the Fort William hotels welcome coach parties and several of our hotels in Fort William are excellent venues for a Highland wedding. Over at Banavie the Moorings Hotels sits by the side of the Caledonian Canal and offers great facilities including canalised restaurant. For a more country feel with big scenery we recommend looking at Kilcamb Hotel in Strontian, Glen Garry Hotel in the Great Glen, The Lovat at Fort Augustus and Inverlochy Castle Hotel just north of Fort William. The Glenfinnan House Hotel is a great example of a very traditional and historic building with a fabulous service. Further along the Road to the Isles Lochailort Inn is worth a stop for lunch or an overnight stay. The Airds Hotel is a Relais Chateau hotel with fine dining.

Lochailort Inn

Croit Anna Hotel
The Croit Anna Hotel is situated 4Km south of Fort William on the A82 by the shores of Loch Linnhe and is ideally located for touring the Western Highlands, with such famous places as Ben Nevis, Glencoe and Glenfinnan only a short drive away. Croit Anna is part of the family owned Leisureplex Group which comprises 17 seaside hotels at locations stretching from here to St.Ives in Cornwall. Most of them boast spectacular locations and Croit Anna is no exception with breathtaking views of the loch. The name translated from Gaelic into English means Anna's Croft. Anna and her stonemason husband Dougald lived here in the 1800s in a traditional stone built cottage complete with heather thatched roof and attached "byre" for the cows. Stones from the now dismantled croft house can be seen incorporated into a stone wall at the Hotel's entrance. The accommodation consists of 92 comfortable en-suite bedrooms with TV, Radio and Hospitality Trays, situated on ground, first and second floors. Six of the ground floor rooms are partially adapted for clients using wheelchairs, the main entrance ways are ramped and all public areas, except the Glencoe Suite, are situated on the ground floor.
