Shopmobility Lochaber is Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation No SC032332. The Shopmobility Lochaber’s mission is to improve the lifestyle and mobility of people who have permanent or temporary mobility problems, by providing a top quality free service in the provision of scooters wheelchairs and power chairs to enable them to access the shops and get mobile.  We are regular suppliers of mobility equipment to hotels, B&B, and retail outlets in Lochaber, as well as ensuring individuals can take part in local events, e.g. supplying mobility equipment and car parking for disabled passengers to enjoy the Jacobite Steam Train, or attend annual Remembrance parades. Although the use of the equipment is free, we do request a one off registration fee, to cover insurance costs, and if required delivery can be organised for a small fee dependant on delivery destination.

If you are planning a visit to Fort William by sea be sure to book a berth at Thomas Telford Corpach Marina at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal. Our marina has 45 sheltered berths with fresh water and electricity. Ashore we have first class toilets and shower facilities and a small coffee shop. Close by are shops and pubs with regular transport into Fort William. Our marina is community owned and managed and is not directly involved with the Caledonian Canal. An Cafaidh Mara An Cafaidh Mara is our new coffee shop at the entrance to the Canal within our marina facilities building, open to customers seven days a week.  Check out their social media. Book online to launch your boat in Loch Linnhe. You can get to the marina by road along A82/A830 or by mailing train - Corpach Station is 100 metres from the marina. Alltonside is a modern 3 star guest house situated just over a mile from Fort William town centre. It commands fabulous views over Loch Linnhe and the hills beyond.
