Glencoe, Kinlochleven, Onich and Appin areas are just south of Fort Willliam on the A82. The area has a very good selection of Glencoe Hotels, self catering cottages and chalets, guesthouses and B&Bs. There is also one well established camping and touring park - Invercoe Highland Holidays, located on the shore of Loch Leven.

There is also a 5 star hotel in Port Appin, a pleasant 15 minute drive down the Oban road. The Airds Hotel is a Relais Chateaux quality hotel offering excellent hotel accommodation and gourmet dining experience.

Bunroy Park
Sheltered by woodland close to the River Spean, Bunroy Park Holiday Lodges nestle in the lovely valley of Glen Spean against the majestic backdrop of Aonach Mor. They offer peace and tranquillity in an idyllic setting yet are within easy reach of the amenities of Fort William and the attractions of the Highlands. They are comfortable, well-insulated, with heating and double-glazing for year round occupation, fully equipped with TV, DVD, cooker, fridge and microwave. The lodges all have fully fitted shower rooms or bathrooms. They also have drying rooms. We welcome dogs in some lodges and there are lovely riverside and woodland paths easily accessible from Bunroy. The village of Roy Bridge with a shop, post office, railway station and bus stop and two hotels serving good food is only a 10 minute walk away. The station is a stop on the West Highland Line, one of the Word’s Great Train journeys. For hill-walkers there are several Munros within easy reach, including Creag Meagaidh, which is also a National Nature Reserve. The Loch Ossian hills are a half-hour train ride away. The gondola at Nevis Range, 7 miles away, takes you 2000 feet up Aonach Mor for some excellent ski-ing in winter and year-round activities and stunning views for all to enjoy. There is good fishing in the area as well as pony-trekking and watersports. The lodges sleep 2 – 4 people and are priced from £210 - £490 per week. Short breaks also available outwith peak season - minimum 3 night stay. Please use the enquiry form below to check availability or to make a booking. Bunroy Park Caravan and Camping site is open from the end of March until the end of October. Tent pitching areas are on level, regularly mown grass, well sheltered by  surrounding woodlands. You can camp by the river, in the spacious main area or nearer to the shower block - it’s your choice. The hard standings for caravans & motorhomes all have electric hookups so you can take the available pitch of your choice close to the shower block or in the more open lower park. The camping site is open from around the end of March to around the end of October and booking is recommended at peak times, particularly for pitches with an electrical hook up. Coire Glas Guest House is situated at the edge of the Village of Spean Bridge in grounds of approximately one acre facing south it looks out over the spectacular Grey Corries and Ben Nevis. In a sheltered position surrounded on three sides by trees, Coire Glas Guest House faces south so that guests can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views of the ski slopes of Aonach Mor, home to Nevis Range Ski Resort by Fort William. Located in the Great Glen, the village itself has two restaurants, two pubs, a village shop, post office and a woollen mill/craft shop all within easy walking distance.  Our views are spectacular. Whilst looking out over the Leanachan forest and the magnificent Grey Corries guests can enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast with fruits, yoghurt, cereals and juices and full Scottish breakfast options for those who like to start the day with hot food. This is a large and comfortable apartment with great views in a very convenient quiet  location close to the town centre. It is ideal for a family group or group of friends for a relaxed break or to explore the Highlands of Scotland.The beautiful Cow Hill Circuit which gives access directly to Glen Nevis is a ten minute walk away. Fort William is a popular centre for climbing, walking, scrambling, canoeing, mountain-biking, skiing, orienteering and other outdoor activities. There is also easy access to beautiful walking and cycling opportunities.This beautiful and historic apartment is ideally located within five minutes’ walk of the high street and is less than fifteen minutes’ walk from the railway station. The apartment offers a lovely view over Loch Linnhe, enjoying a peaceful, elevated position.The apartment is split over levels 2 and 3 of a three story C 19 terraced building. It has its own private entrance with a flight of  stairs.The accommodation comprises two or three double bedrooms one of which can also function as a second sitting room/ study. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped.Visitors will love the original oak panelling of this railway engineer’s house built in the 1890s. The large, comfortable main sitting room is equipped with a television. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 person. The minimum let is six days in the high season and four days at other times.   We all had a wonderful time in Fort William, in no small part as a result of the really good accommodation we found ourselves in.
