Duror Village on the way to Castle Stalker

Duror is a small community between Ballachulish and Port Appin near Castle Stalker on the road to Oban

Duror lies on the road to Oban - the A828. This small community has a hotel, a shop, some B & Bs and self catering properties. There's a nice stoney beach not far from the road and this is a good place to picnic and enjoy the views.
 
 Duror is an historical area with a strong association with the Stewart's of Appin.
 
 On the south-west boundary of Lochaber Duror is a good place for a quiet holiday and well positioned for touring both Lochaber and north Argyll.

Breakfast is all served in our newly re-furbished Breakfast room with stunning views over Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Hills. All rooms now have new flat screen tv's with dvd players. Croit Anna Hotel
The Croit Anna Hotel is situated 4Km south of Fort William on the A82 by the shores of Loch Linnhe and is ideally located for touring the Western Highlands, with such famous places as Ben Nevis, Glencoe and Glenfinnan only a short drive away. Croit Anna is part of the family owned Leisureplex Group which comprises 17 seaside hotels at locations stretching from here to St.Ives in Cornwall. Most of them boast spectacular locations and Croit Anna is no exception with breathtaking views of the loch. The name translated from Gaelic into English means Anna's Croft. Anna and her stonemason husband Dougald lived here in the 1800s in a traditional stone built cottage complete with heather thatched roof and attached "byre" for the cows. Stones from the now dismantled croft house can be seen incorporated into a stone wall at the Hotel's entrance. The accommodation consists of 92 comfortable en-suite bedrooms with TV, Radio and Hospitality Trays, situated on ground, first and second floors. Six of the ground floor rooms are partially adapted for clients using wheelchairs, the main entrance ways are ramped and all public areas, except the Glencoe Suite, are situated on the ground floor. Room types range from quality single rooms to large family rooms capable of taking up to four guests. Self Catering on The Caledonian Canal
Ros Crana is a 44 metre, comfortable barge, located at the top of Neptune's staircase on the Caledonian Canal near Fort William. This is our home berth and we are pleased to offer the opportunity for guests to stay aboard during the periods when we are not cruising. With wonderful views of Ben Nevis and the surrounding hills this is an ideal base for discovering the area and if you wish, some gentle activity challenges - biking, walking, canoeing etc. In other words having some fun and enjoying the space to breathe. This is an ideal location for up to 12 guests to be based while staying in the Highlands. Accommodation is in 6 en-suite twin cabins with powerful hot showers. The lounge and dining area mean there is plenty of room to sit and relax during your stay. The kitchen has every cooking utensil required including a fridge freezer, large gas cooker and oven and a dish washer too! There is also an efficient drying room on board. All bed linen, towels and heating are included in the cost. We are also happy to participate and been accepted into the Visit Scotland "Good to Go"  and the Airbnb "Enhanced Clean" protocol campaigns. Prices for  1 - 6 guests: £240 per night (minimum stay 2 nights) Price for 7 or more up to a maximum of 12, there is an additional charge of £25.00pp/pn.
