Nautical & Marine Services
Fort William lies at the southern end of the Caledonian where it joins Loch Linnhe and the Atlantic Ocean. We have a good base of marine services
There is a short-stay pontoon located at the West End car park south of Fort William Town Pier where vessels with a draught of less than 3 metres can come alongside and access Fort William High Street. This pontoon facility has been provided specifically for visiting cruise liners to bring their passengers ashore in tenders, but is equally suitable for any vessel with a shallow draught. This facility is not suitable for overnight berthing.
Visitors mooring on Loch Linnnhe: is No. 11 at the SW end of the outer trot, nearest to the yacht club. Call Richard Rumney 0779 2222691 or Hamish Loudon 0787 9651851 to arrange long stay mooring
Thomas Telford Corpach Marina
Corpach Marina developers are planning to open a fully serviced yacht haven at the entrance to the Caledonian Canal in the Spring of 2023. A public slipway will provide access to Loch Linnhe for small vessels and canoes for a small charge including car parking. An Cala is the marina's coffee shop which will be part of the new marina facilities building.
