Outdoor activities in the Great Glen and Loch Ness

The Great Glen is a beautiful area from Fort William in the south to Inverness in the north.

One of Lochaber's outdoor activities provider - Quad Bike Tours offers a great experience in Ardverikie Estate on quad bikes. Nevis Range at Torlundy, in Leannachan Forest is Fort Wlliam's largest outdoor activity centre providing mountain biking downhill tracks and trails, winter sports with gondola uplift to a great viewing point with restaurant and shop. Leannachan Forest offers over 20kms of forest roads and trails for walking or cycling.

The Caledonian Canal provides an inland waterway for cruising holidays and watersports activiites on Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and of course Loch Ness at Fort Augustus.
