Sea Angling in the Highlands
Sea angling is popular in Lochaber. Visit Fort William has lists of local businesses providing tuition, excursions, boat trips and fishing tackle
The Fort William and Lochaber area is a huge coastal area on the west Highlands and sea-anglers are seldom disappointed when they have a day out on our sea lochs and offshore areas. These waters are unpolluted which attract a great range of fish. In summer shoals of herring are often chased up sea lochs by hungry shoals of mackeral - which makes good fishing.
Fort William west end car park is a popular place for anglers who like to fish on the flood tide.
