The Fort William and Lochaber area is a huge coastal area on the west Highlands and sea-anglers are seldom disappointed when they have a day out on our sea lochs and offshore areas. These waters are unpolluted which attract a great range of fish. In summer shoals of herring are often chased up sea lochs by hungry shoals of mackeral - which makes good fishing.
Fort William west end car park is a popular place for anglers who like to fish on the flood tide.
Many fishermen choose a secluded sea loch to fish for sea trout. There is a fishing shop in Fort William High Street for tackle, bait, permits etc
